Stone Cottage is a bespoke self-build dwelling set within the rolling countryside of Herefordshire. The project was delivered through a two-stage planning process - outline consent followed by reserved matters approval - allowing the clients to secure the principle of development before refining the design in detail. This approach gave the clients certainty at an early stage while allowing flexibility to develop a design tailored to the site and their aspirations.

The result is a generous family home that draws on the local vernacular while incorporating contemporary touches, sitting comfortably within its rural setting.
